of the new city.

Located in front of the Castle and surrounded by gothic
and baroque buildings, this square presents the Column
of the Virgin.
Crusades' Square
This small but beautiful square is located in front
of the Charles Bridge. It features a monument to the
Emperor Charles.
The
most suggestive square is the Square of the
Old City, also known as the Clock Square.
Surrounding the central statue of the religious leader
of the reformation: Jan Hus, there are Baroque and Gothic
churches. But the most important monument at this square
is the astronomic clock at the top of the Municipal
Tower. This splendid clock has marvelled the visitors
of the plaza for four centuries with the procession
of apostles that come out of the clock every hour.
